About Us
Bridging NewcastleGateshead was set up to improve housing quality and choice in parts of NewcastleGateshead. We aim to create great places to live and we are achieving this through improving existing homes, building new homes and where necessary and after extensive consultation, removing a small amount of obsolete properties. We are a strategic partnership, working with councils and a range of partners to bring lasting change to the local housing market.

In the summer of 2005, we carried out consultation to find out the opinions of residents towards housing issues in the area. Through a series of events and a survey, we found out what people in NewcastleGateshead thought of housing, our vision and objectives and what they feel makes a great place to live.
